What do you get when you put one foot in a box?
A little piece of history, of course.
Inside this handsome wooden box, with its engraved metal handle and rich, warm finish, sits a traditional wooden shoemaker's last.
Once an essential tool of the shoemaking trade, the last was used to shape shoes by hand, long before mass production transformed the industry.
Both pieces have been carefully restored by Catherine, preserving their original character and craftsmanship.
Two objects with different histories, brought together to begin a new chapter.
